"Every budget is a statement of priorities. Today, our vote reflected ours: affordability, accountability, and respect for the taxpayers who make every dollar in this budget possible.
While there are worthwhile investments included, we could not support another record-spending budget that does too little to address the financial pressures facing hardworking families and seniors across South Jersey.
Our constituents expect responsible budgeting, not simply bigger budgets, and we will continue fighting for policies that make New Jersey more affordable for everyone."
